This workshop will emphasis how to use story and reasoning games to turn young children into “becausers”, able to form opinions, give reasons, listen carefully, agree and disagree with one another and enjoy playing around with creative ideas. Children’s talk about story develops in advance of other forms of complex talk, and so by putting them into the story, they can be more engaged in dilemmas and decisions. Lots of activities for building skills, and lots of stimuli and activities that are compelling for these ages.
