You may be a tech-savvy leader or coordinator who brings digital age approaches to your school life but are you doing all you can to promote digital citizenship in the curriculum? This session provides leaders and coordinators with a strategic road map to incorporate these concepts into the curriculum so that digital citizenship isn’t just “one more thing,” but is threaded into the DNA of teaching and learning.

It focusses on developing digital citizenship approaches in your curriculum. It covers such topics as digital ethics and progression in digital citizenship capability; it walks through the digital citizenship responsibilities and opportunities inherent in classroom teaching and offers strategies for spreading digital citizenship approaches with your teachers so they can successfully:
  • Model appropriate online etiquette
  • Connect students to opportunities to model positive digital citizenship
  • Promote ethical practice and get parents involved
  • Embed digital citizenship across the Primary curriculum.
